Fresh flowers for ME

Today I created/painted for me. No deadline that needed my immediate attention. No part of a list that needed checked off. Nothing to make for someone else. Today, I just designed something for myself. It contains a sentiment that I need to try and remember when I have frustrations. Just a simple 6x6 black canvas that says so much:

I used my brand new Wendy Vecchi Stencil For Art "3 Fresh Flowers".
(Of course, I could only fit 2 of the flowers on this little 6x6 black canvas.)

The flowers were stamped onto the canvas using the stencil and and my embossing ink pad. I then sprinkled Ranger's Melt Art Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel in White and heat set the flowers. I painted the flowers with Copic Markers over the embossed white. The sentiment was written with a Signo Uni-ball White pen and the bottom piece is just a strip of dry wall mesh. The final step was to spray the whole thing with a mat fixative.

I hope and pray that my art, or the sentiment inspires you. Hugs. Lori
