Genuinely Jane Studios / Viva Las Vegas Stamps Blog Hop

Welcome to the final day of the Viva Las Vegas Stamps / Genuinely Jane Studios(GJS) Blog Hop! If you came from Glenda then you are in the right place. If you would like to start at the beginning, please head over to the GJS Blog.

Here is a glimpse at the two companies:

Viva Las Vegas Stamps is America's largest rubber stamp manufacturer with over 19,000 different images in their line. They manufacture deeply etched, superbly detailed pink rubber stamps that are sarcastic, vintage, edgy and on trend. Perfect for cards, art journaling, mixed media and more! Find them on Facebook at and visit their online store to see the vast array of images at

Genuinely Jane Studios manufactures small and medium size wood mini-albums for mixed media, scrapbooking and altered art in many shapes and sizes. All of the albums are hand made right on site in their Central Missouri facility. In addition to their albums, they also carry other art supplies in their online store. Find them on Facebook at and their website at

My project was inspired by a trip to an Art Festival with my Hubby and two of my kids. It is always fun to stand back and watch what others "SEE" when they view an artists work. So, I spent the day watching my family. I enjoy seeing what they like, what they don't, and even when they secretly whisper to me "Mom you could so have done that better". Everyone needs a little ego boost sometimes!!

One of the artists truly amazed me. Not only did my family COMPLETELY understand what the artist was saying, but it also scared the daylights out of them. So fun!!

You see, the artist was a photographer. He had taken pictures of stone statues of angels. The title of one of his angel photos was "Don't Blink"!

Now, if that phrase does not freak you out when you put it together with stone angels, then you are obviously NOT a Doctor WHO fan, and I can no longer speak to you.

LOL. Just kidding, you can stay. I guess.

My family was completely wigged out. The artist had gotten them hook line and sinker. Of course, I wasn't stupid, I wasn't about to buy one of those photos. (Ok, maybe he should rethink the title if his goal is to make money)

But those freaky photos inspired me to create the following project for the Genuinely Jane Studios / Viva Las Vegas blog hop.

I call it "Don't Blink". Bwahaha!!

LOVE Dr. Who. The eleventh was my first Doctor and so I will always love Matt, but after going back and watching the older series, I have come to love Chris's #9 and esp David's #10.....who has come to be my fave....he's so tragic. You just want to scoop him up and take him home to your own TARDIS!

Oh, yes...I do love your project!! Oooooh..Don't blink. Scariest set of episodes ever are the ones with those angels. (Hair standing up on back....)
